About Me
Hi, my name is Scott, and I'll be your meteorologist today. I'm a graduate of Iowa State University's meteorology Master's program way back in 1999. I have about eight years of experience forecasting for a wide variety of locations and weather conditions, something that is a product of working in the airline industry for most of those eight years. I've forecasted the weather on six different continents (though admittedly with much of my experience is with North America), including both upper air and surface level forecasts. I also have experience in forecasting for energy companies related to customer usage and infrastructure maintenance. To top it off, I have limited experience in TV as a intern weather producer for a Minneapolis TV station.
Taken as a whole, I'm confident that whether (ha, pun!) your planning a trip to Europe or out onto the sound, I can get you an accurate forecast that you'll find helpful.
If there are any other features that you'd like on this website, let me know, and I'll see what I can do.
